About Me
My name is Isaiah C. Basye. I love making people laugh. I'm a 5th grade teacher at Carthage Middle School. I have also worked for a traveling acting group called SuperStart. We traveled around the US of A and put on shows for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. I have done some other acting jobs here and there. For instance, I was a main character for a show on TBN called The Lads TV. I played a disgruntled live ukulele musician. I am also a member of the SCBWI. (Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) Working at the school is where I usually get my inspiration for writing. I love writing stories for all ages. It is my dream to become a mainstream poet and writer for kids and to share my work with students around the world. Let's change the world one smile at a time.
